Interior Demolition in Macomb & St. Clair County

Tear it out.Haul it away.

Kitchens, bathrooms, drywall, flooring, cabinets and carpet. We do the tear-out and the haul-away in one visit, so your remodel starts with an empty, swept room and no dumpster sitting in the driveway.

  • Demo + haul-away, one crew
  • No dumpster rental needed
  • Flat price from photos
  • Licensed & insured
What a tear-out includes
  1. Walk through the room and confirm what’s coming out and what’s staying
  2. Tear out cabinets, fixtures, flooring, drywall or whatever’s on the list
  3. Load every piece of debris straight into our truck and trailer
  4. Haul it to the right place: scrap metal, recycling or landfill
  5. Sweep the room out so it’s ready for the next trade
One crew, start to finish

We tear it out and haul it off the same visit.

Most people end up paying twice for a remodel tear-out: once for the labor and again for a dumpster that sits on the driveway for a week. We do both, and we take the debris with us when we leave.

Working with a contractor?

We can do the demo ahead of them so they start day one with a clean room.

How it works

Three steps, one flat price.

1

Send photos of the room

Text photos to (586) 707-4959 and tell us what’s coming out. A quick note like “cabinets and floor, keep the window” is perfect.

2

Get a flat price

One number for the demo and the haul-away together. If anything about the job changes on site, we talk about it before we touch it.

3

Demo, haul, sweep

We tear it out, load the debris as we go and leave the room swept. No dumpster, no pile in the yard.

Pricing

What goes into your price.

Every interior demolition job is quoted as one flat number. These are the things that move it up or down.

Size of the space

A half bath is a different job than a full kitchen. Photos and rough measurements help.

What it’s made of

Tile, plaster and mortar beds are a lot heavier than drywall and carpet, and heavier debris costs more to dispose of.

How much comes out

Just the cabinets, or everything down to the studs?

Access

Stairs, upper floors and distance to the driveway all add time.

The quote is the price. If the job turns out bigger than the photo, we re-quote before we load a single thing, never after.

What we don’t do

  • 1
    No structural or load-bearing walls

If a wall holds something up, that’s a job for a licensed contractor and possibly an engineer.

  • 2
    No asbestos removal

Homes built before the 1980s can have asbestos in old floor tile, popcorn ceilings or pipe wrap. If you’re not sure, get it tested first.

  • 3
    Utilities off first

Water, gas and power to anything we’re pulling out need to be shut off and capped before we start. We’ll go over it when you send photos.

Questions

Demolition questions we get a lot.

Do I need to rent a dumpster?
No. We load the debris into our own truck and trailer as we work and haul it away the same visit. Nothing sits on your driveway.
Do you take out load-bearing walls?
No. We only do non-structural demo. Anything that holds up the house needs a licensed contractor.
Do I need a permit?
Simple tear-outs often don’t need one, but your city or township decides. If you’re unsure, a quick call to your local building department will tell you.
Can you work ahead of my contractor?
Yes. A lot of our demo work is clearing the room so the contractor can start building on day one.
How long does a tear-out take?
A single bathroom or kitchen tear-out is usually a one-day job. Bigger projects we’ll schedule with you.
What about asbestos?
We don’t remove asbestos. In older homes, old floor tile, popcorn ceilings and pipe insulation can contain it, so if there’s any doubt, have it tested before demo.
